Uzbek investor has invested millions of dollars in production in Shymkent
Uzbek investors of BAIKRA LLP have implemented a project for the production of hygienic paper packaging in Shymkent. The factory is already actively producing, it is located in the territory of the special economic zone "Ontustik".
The design capacity of the factory today is more than 1,800 tons of toilet paper and 415 tons of dry napkins. The volume of investments in the project amounted to $ 1 million. The enterprise has created 20 permanent jobs.
“The project was implemented on the territory of the special economic zone, in this connection the investor was provided with a number of preferences. Among them are tax preferences, exemption from VAT, CPN, land tax and property tax. Businesses exempted from import duties on equipment. On its side, KAZAKH INVEST will be involved in the provision of investment visas, "- said Doskhan Imanbekov the regional director of KAZAKH INVEST in Shymkent.
Nowadays, the finished product is sold in the Kazakh market. In addition, the management of the company plans to regulate exports to Uzbekistan and is already negotiating with local wholesale companies. In the future, the company plans to expand the range of goods, in particular, to produce roll napkins and kitchen towels.
