The purpose of the special economic zone "Ontustik" is to develop the textile industry and increase its competitiveness, increase the share of domestic cotton consumption and production of finished textile products with high added value. The territory of the SEZ is 200 hectares.

INDUSTRIAL ZONE (IZ)

In order to increase the investment attractiveness of the region and create favorable conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in all cities and districts of the region, industrial zones are created, the total number of which today is 11 industrial zones with a total area of 959 hectares.

Currently, in 9 industrial zones infrastructure is supplied (Shymkent FROM "Ontustik", Shymkent industrial zone "Tassay", Turkestan, Kentau, Sozak district, Shardara district, Tulkubas district, Kazygurt district and Maktaaral district).

In addition, in Baidibek and Ordabasy district (CTIS (Badam)) areas under construction infrastructure.

Currently, 170 projects worth 166 billion tenge are being implemented in the industrial zones of South Kazakhstan region, with the creation of more than 10 thousand jobs. Of the 170 projects were implemented 67, for a total amount of 34.4 billion tenge., with the creation of more than 4 thousand jobs. (out of 66 projects, 46 projects were implemented in the industrial zone "Ontustik»)

The following projects were approved within the framework of the Unified business support and development program "Business road map - 2020" for 2016:

- in the first direction:

- project "Working capital replenishment. Purchase of raw materials and materials for the production of clothing LLP "Golden NOMAD ". The loan amount is 300.0 million tenge.

- in the second direction:

- project "working capital" LLP "Bal Tekstil" LLP co-borrower "Long-term Partner". The loan amount – 250,0 million tenge.

- project "Replenishment of working capital (purchase fabric, batting and various accessories for clothing) LLP "ABITEX". The loan amount is 44.0 million tenge.

- in the third direction:

- project "Replenishment of working capital" (purchase of raw materials for its further processing and production) LLP "Shymkent-Cashmere". The loan amount is 50.0 million tenge.

- "Working capital replenishment" project of "AZALA Textile"LLP. The loan amount is 1 100.0 million tenge.

SEZ "Ontustik»

The special economic zone "Ontustik"was created by the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 1 605 of July 6, 2005.
